Fire of the past, igniting the hearts of the future | Waṟu Iritinguṟu, Tiliningi Kurunpa Kuranyukutungku Katiṟingkupai

This year marks 40 years since one of the most significant moments in Australia’s history – the return of the title deeds to Uluṟu and Kata Tjuṯa to Aṉangu Traditional Owners in 1985.

Handback was a powerful recognition of Aṉangu’s enduring connection to Country and an important milestone in Australia’s journey of land rights and reconciliation.

Join us in commemorating this historic anniversary with a series of special events at Uluṟu–Kata Tjuṯa National Park.
